Greta Thunberg says: “I don’t want you to listen to me, I want you to listen to the scientists.” For this she receives love, well earned, and hate, incredible on so many levels. Like keeping an innocent man in jail cos’ he might commit a crime further down the line anyway. Greed and ignorance are the problems, and what has got us here, so obviously it can’t even be a part of the solution. The track contains sample from a speech by Greta Thunberg. Greta Thunberg (First Punks On Neptune) it only took a century or so to tear down, what’s been around, for 6.000 years or more tho’ all of us to the last one knew the source, the destructive force, we just headed straight on no more fuck yous, no more fuck yous were the first punks on neptune the greatest wealth, the greatest poverty the richest nations, half populations, living in misery they’re building drones armed with bombs kill, destroy, remote controlled, each would fed millions no more fuck yous, no more fuck yous were the first punks on neptune no more fuck yous, no more fuck yous were the first punks on neptune no more fuck yous no more fuck yous no more fuck yous no more fuck yous

about

Punk’s not dead! Punk is fun! After about half a decade it’s fully incorporated with the bourgeois mainstream culture. What started out as a protest against the majority music scene now is a natural element in society, both influencing it and is influenced by it.

Movie stars wear Germs shirts, punks are looking like bikers, punk songs are on the pop charts, pop stars collaborates with punk stars, there’s famous punks in the late shows next to presidents and porn actors, punks who supports the right, punks who supports the left, punks who just wanna have fun, punk bands play live on commercial broadcasting companies, which now gets more money from the sponsors than from the actual playing.

The scene got dinosaur bands, nowadays fat and old, playing songs from their youth, standing completely still and uses walkers to get to the stage, with nothing to say and nothing to give, and both the young and the older punks love it, the nostalgia, the longing for a time when things were better and far worse off than today. And they’re so proud of the young bands who manages to get contracts with major companies, which is seen as a token of success, and that punk’s not dead.
